Magli Intermodal Service

Be Intermodal.

Road where proximity matters. Rail where distance counts. One journey, from origin to destination.

Two modes. One approach.

Intermodality combines road and rail transport within a door-to-door chain. Cargo travels in the same loading unit, while the modes carrying it to its destination change.

01 / Road, at departure

A truck collects the loading unit at the customer’s site and takes it to the departure terminal. This first leg retains the flexibility needed to reach industrial plants.

02 / Rail, over long distances

The container moves onto rail for the main leg. Terminal operations connect the two modes without requiring the cargo itself to be handled again at every transfer.

03 / Road, at delivery

From the arrival terminal, road transport completes the final kilometres to the consignee. One organisation coordinates the journey.

Europe, connected.

MIS solutions link Italy with France, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia. Each service is defined around origin, destination and customer requirements: the map illustrates the network concept rather than a rail timetable.
